We are celebrating 20 years.
Exactly twenty years ago, the founding charter of our centre was signed. During this time, more than 15,000 organs have been transplanted in the Czech Republic. Behind this number is a huge amount of work, joy, but also sorrow, when at the end of the whole process we see many lives saved. Good organisation of the transplant programme leads to a significant reduction in waiting times for transplantation and a decrease in patients dying on the waiting list.
