Director of the Coordination Center for Transplantation

Prof. MUDr. Miloš Adamec, CSc.

Professor of surgery, until 2011 Head of the Department of Transplantation Surgery and Deputy Head of the Transplantation Center of the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine in Prague. Transplant surgery is dedicated from the beginning of his career, independently performed more than 1,000 organ transplants (kidney, liver, pancreas). The results of their work lectured at prestigious national and international congresses. 3 Czech co-authored monographs on organ harvesting and transplantation of the liver and pancreas. Furthermore, the author of 20 chapters in monographs with other transplant issues. He has published more than 100 scientific articles, 30 of them in international journals with IF. Member of the Transplant Division of the European Surgical Society and winner of a European diploma for transplant surgery. Member of the Czech Transplant Society, and an honorary member of the Slovak Surgical Society for development of liver transplantation program. The KST since 2014.

JUDr. Přemysl Frýda

Law studies finished in 1986. After that he served as a consular officer at the Czechoslovak embassy in Stockholm (1987) and editor of the Czechoslovak Radio broadcast traffic (1989). In 1992 he founded and led a law firm and then worked in the British law firm McKenna & Co. Solicitors. Experience gained with medicine as Marketing and Sales Director in companies producing medical laser technology (1992-2004). He served as chief editor of the international specialist magazine Laser Partner and Managing Director of European Medical Laser Association (2005-2012). He is a member of the Czech Society of medical law. It specializes in quality systems in medicine. He publishes and lectures on ethical and legal aspects of transplantation. The KST since 2004.

Helena Pekařová

Bc. Dana Vašíčková – vedoucí koordinátor

In 1992 she graduated from Graphic College, majoring in graphic arts. In 1995 he completed post-secondary studies SZŠ – study nurse. Experience gained at the Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion – to ward JIHEP and transplant unit. His expertise extended one-year cardiology course for nurses in intensive care units (2001), the specialization course ARIP (2002 – 2003) and a Bachelor’s degree program of Nursing – Health Sciences at the 3rd Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague (2006-2010). The KST since July 2008. In addition to his main job of the coordinator collects information on international organ exchange portal foedus. Bc. Marie Šmejkalová

Romana Tichavská

Nursing School, specialization general nurse graduated in 1995. He began his career in the surgical intensive care unit at the hospital Kyjov. In the years 2002 – 2004 worked at the Department of Anesthesiology and resuscitation department and intensive care clinics IKEM transplant surgery, as well as the ICU Surgical Clinic of 2nd Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague Central Military Hospital. Practical experiences have expanded in 2003, the professional specialization course PSS ARIP. The KST since 2007. Štěpánka Slabá, DiS.

She graduated from nursing school in 1997 at Zdar. He complemented his education at two-year study of conscripts in Prague – branch Certified nurse for intensive care. Experience gained in the years 2000 – 2008 at the Department of ARO in FNKV – Praha, followed by a year at the neonatal intensive care unit in VFN – Prague. Experience with transplant medicine acquired in the position of ICEM Coordinators donations of organs from deceased donors, where she worked as a lecturer at the same time specialized education.
