Pancreas

Pancreas transplantation is solely concerned with – Prague. The first pancreas transplant was performed as early as 1983. By 1997, the transplanted pancreas only in combination with a kidney from this year separately. In 2005 the program was launched isolation and transplantation of islets of Langerhans, ie. clusters of cells within the pancreas.
